six (video) ♊ it's the pokémon christmas bash!

[Sollux has been wandering around all by his lonesome since the Cinnabar incident, letting Karkat and Vanitas have their... alone time without a third wheel intruding. He's sure they were very grateful, but didn't actually get around to telling them he was leaving, so he couldn't be sure. He's been doing his own wanderings all over the place, contemplating maybe getting Badges or something... and never actually getting any Badges. Good job, Sollux. But now it's time to actually kick his ass back into gear; the Pokémon are getting antsy from all this wanderlust. He can feel it by the way Fefero slams him over the head with a cannon. That's a bored cannon.]

[There's a really quick video post up on the Network now; it looks like he's sitting on a beach, Axolotl the Absol on his lap as usual. Resting in Olivine does have its perks.]

Anyone in Johto know a place to go for the holidays? Preferably in a town with a Gym? [And yet he hasn't left the city yet.] I feel like integrating myself with the locals and getting my ass out of this chair at the same time.

I'm going to Goldenrod with everyone else - well, the two groups that are going, I mean - but I'm not really certain what we're going to do there. I assume there will be human Christmas things?

Well, I'll probably stay in Goldenrod until whatever party everyone is planning is through with. How long do you think you'll need to be in Ecruteak?

Are Alph and Sprout Tower in the same city too? Because I will turn this journey around if they are.

[ She's actually used to the lisp from...a long time ago, so Aradia doesn't even really note it. Besides, she's excited, too! Ruins ruins ruins towers ruins! She feels about them the way Sollux does about the number two. ]

Yes, they're just outside of Violet! You really should see Alph, because those ruins are just so - interesting! There's an entire language based off of pokemon there. It's strange - I can't decide if the written language of this world came from them or if they somehow came from it.

Oh, and I should have fly-capable and surf-capable pokebeasts by the time Christmas is done, if that helps at all.

Well, I'm going to leave that for you to find out. [Sollux folds his arms and gazes pointedly off to the side. He has other, more important things to do, like beat young children at animal-fighting matches. ...He looks back when she mentions Fly and Surf, however.]

Eggbert already can, and I've got a Lapras egg that should be hatching soon. John and Jade are letting me use their HMs.

And the badges?

I'm a breeder, so I don't need those to use them.

Well, I'm a Trainer, and the reason I'm going to Ecruteak in the first place is to get Surf. I already beat Janine so I can use it. Then to Cianwood, to get Fly, and back to Violet to be able to use it. [Yeah, he broke sequence straight past Falkner.]

Yes, apparently! And John and Jade have all the HMs, so I didn't even need to get those. But since almost everyone is a trainer, it won't really matter. I mean, I think the only other breeders are Roxy and Rose? That's probably why you didn't hear about it.

[ Since this is pre her leaving. ]

KK and Vanitas are breeders... I think. Don't remember what it said on the Center files but they carried around a shitton of Eggs. ...Then again, both of them have been here for ages so it doesn't really matter, one way or another.

I'm doing it myself, though. Good experience.

Really? I thought they were trainers...Actually, I'm pretty certain Vanitas is, from the one time we talked. [ But breeder doesn't seem to equal eggs, exactly. ] I think people can change it, anyway, although I'm perfectly happy with what I got!

People do seem to have egg issues. I'm trying to keep an eye on my Pokemon, since Breeders seem to have that problem more, but...well.

Thankfully, none of mine have tried to make Eggs yet. I know how to take care of them and all, but really, I don't have time for breeding... to train them is my cause.

Don't tell anyone. I think the fact that I'm actually trying to organize type advantages for Gym battles might be tipping them off. [He sniggers.] The actual game is for wigglers with no lives, but I play the video games sometimes.

Your secret is safe with me! Anyway, I don't see why people wouldn't organize type advantages. [ But then, she spent a lot of time doing flarp and listening to Tavros explain Fiduspawn. Spamming advantages is just good sense! ]
